We want to thank the Yavapai County Emergency Operations Center for their help with Saturday's water issue in Peeples Valley.  Those efforts resulted in a large drinking water delivery from the Manzanita Outreach organization. The repairs were completed sooner than the original estimate of three days, and a portion of this water was distributed to the residents affected by the outage. However, there was a large surplus amount. We have reached out to our neighboring Fire Departments (Skull Valley, Southern Yavapai, Yarnell) and other community organizations (Yarnell Food Bank, Yarnell Community Center, The American Legion, Model Creek School) to see if they would be able to accept, store, and make available for any future emergencies. The water has been distributed to all the listed entities by the Peeples Valley Wildland Division and Regular Operations as of this morning.
