The Peeples Valley Fire District is governed by a five-member, non-partisan board that is elected by the registered voters of the Fire District. Board members serve alternating four-years terms and receive no compensation for their service. The Board of Directors act on behalf of the district residents to ensure the smooth and efficient operation. The Fire Board must comply with a multitude of state laws that are in the Arizona State Revised Statutes. The Fire Board is responsible for employing the Fire Chief to manage all aspects of the District.
